LOCAL ACTIVITIES
There are many activities to enjoy during your stay at our French holiday home. During summer each of the local villages holds a local fete, usually lasting 2 or three days. The Mayreville fete is held in the first weekend of August. This includes a village communal meal with unlimited wine(60F) followed by music and dancing to the small hours. There is music and dancing each night and the locals warmly welcome visitors.
There is a lake nearby near Salles offering windsurfing, sailing, boating and other water sports.
Prehistoric caves can be found on the road to Andorra at Tarascon, Niaux and Lombrives. These offer guided tours to see the cave paintings, stalactites etc. (It can be cold, bring a coat or sweater.)
